In the late twenty-first century, Earth is at a state of cold war with a sub-dimensional species. The
United Global Sectors established an early warning system of deep space outposts built within asteroids to monitor for and
report any extra-terrestrial transmissions. Soldiers, assigned to these outposts in groups of two, are relieved after a one-year
rotation.
But something has gone terribly wrong.
Communications with Earth have been lost, and relief and supply ships are
late... Cut off, the abandoned soldiers must assume the worst - humankind is at war with a virtually unknown alien species.
Within this claustrophobic isolation stalks a lurking shadowy madness.
One by one, base by base, the outpost soldiers find themselves caught in the grasp of a sometimes violent, sometimes sensual,
insanity.
Amid the confusion, a lone scavenger, Roy Webster (John Futrell), learns of the tragedy befalling the
UGS outposts. Determined to return to Earth with more than his meager salvage claims, he ventures into the isolated bases
hoping to find government technology and goods worth a small fortune on the black market. However, he soon finds himself plunged
into the depths of shadow and fear, and finds his sanity spinning out of control...
